Winter can be tough for the car community. As enthusiasts bundle up against the cold, outdoor activities often slow down. However, this winter brought some positive moments. We hosted several successful events and used the quieter months to enhance our website, ensuring we are ready for the exciting upcoming season. Now that spring is around the corner, it’s time to shake off the winter chill and look forward to this year's off-roading adventures.
Embracing the Winter Blues
During winter, many of us retreat from the open roads and trails. Snow, ice, and frigid temperatures keep even the most devoted drivers indoors. Still, our commitment to community helped us find ways to stay engaged.
The winter months also allowed us to focus on the technical aspects of our website. We wanted to make it easier for our community to access necessary resources and engage with one another. We've come a long way and are still working on improvements!
Successful Winter Events: A Silver Lining
Despite a cold winter, our events drew impressive crowds. Our winter solstice event attracted nearly 30 participants eager to showcase their capabilities in the winter weather.
The excitement was evident as participants navigated challenging terrain, circumventing snow and ice in two separate trail locations. These events highlight how our community thrives on connection, even in less-than-ideal weather. We even had a few unintentional "recovery lessons" that had positive outcomes. (Thanks, guys, for getting me un-stuck. lol)
Spring is Coming!
It's officially spring and the anticipation to get out to nature is unbearable. The warmer, sunnier days are signals to plan our next events. Except for this rain, what the heck is with all this rain.
But.. the sunny weather invites us to exit our hibernation and go clean our cars! Rinse of all that salt, because it's time for some mud.
It's probably also the ideal time to tackle those projects you have been procrastinating on all winter. I know I have at least 14.

Planning for Adventure
So, as the temperatures rise, we are excited to announce several upcoming events. Our April 19th Event is nearly (or is) sold out. We are having an entry level "overlanding" event in the Waterville Valley, NH area on May 31. There are currently still spots available as I write this, but spots are limited! So come Trail and Camp with us!
Let's not forget, the week after that is WICKED BIG MEET!! Get excited. We still have plenty of space available for camping at wilderness lake the days before the big show.
So, from community car shows that will highlight some of the best vehicles to organized trail rides, our calendar is filling up with activities and we aren't stopping!
As always, we're creating a positive environment for learning and friendship. Each event focuses on safe, responsible driving while encouraging fun and exploration. So remember, Trail Responsibly
We’re also exploring new types of events. For example, we aim to integrate workshops on off-road skills, navigation, and recovery. It’s not just about the vehicles; it’s about building skills for enjoyable and confident experiences.
Get Ready for an Amazing Year!
Now is the time to get involved. We have so much in store for this year and only plan to grow. Don't hesitate to reach out, come to events and be a part of the fun.
Pushing through winter’s challenges is rewarding, but nothing compares to spring's excitement, reigniting our passion for adventure. Gathering for events, sharing experiences, and enjoying off-roading are more than just our hobbies; they represent a culture of camaraderie and a shared love.
Celebrating Our Community
Our strength lies not only in our shared passion for cars and adventure, but also in the relationships we build and the support we give each other. The past year has been a HUGE year for growth for the entire group. Each and every member is why we are here today.
By staying active and engaged, we further strengthen our community for the adventures ahead. Take a moment to build your BASECAMP profile, connect on IG and Discord and stay tuned for some big new changes. We'll be making lots of positive upgrades :)
Don't let winter's remnants rust your gears; spring is here and Adventure O.N.E is ready to hit the trails!
